SHOW SITE FOREMAN

SUMMARY
This position is responsible for ensuring all assigned jobs are produced as cost effectively and efficiently as possible to achieve the objectives of the proposal, the client's needs, meet Triumph's quality standards and the financial objectives of the company. The foreman is responsible for directing and supervising labor on all assigned projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Confer with Production Supervisor, Account Executives and Exhibitor Services Reps to determine job-by-job requirements for upcoming events including labor and equipment as required.
Create production schedules, labor budgets and estimate worker hour requirements for large trade shows and events as needed.
Produce load lists and follow through with pre-event production of large trade shows and events as needed.
Adhere to production schedules and labor plan to eliminate unnecessary costs in overtime labor, equipment loss and damage.
Write work tickets and labor tickets as they happen for accurate reporting.
Ensure that all equipment is returned to warehouse and broken or damaged equipment is tagged for repair.
Track show site labor daily and total the hours each day on the sign in sheets. Review all time cards for accuracy before submitting - it is the foreman's responsibility to assure that accurate time cards are sent to the office in a timely manner.
Document no-show and tardy labor and prepare necessary paperwork that will be presented to the union officials.
Hold daily safety meetings at show site and inform leads and crew of daily activities.
Write post show notes to document successes and failures related to the production process and discuss possible solutions with the Production Supervisor to prevent the same failures on future projects.
Attend any required production meetings and provide all necessary documentation to Production Supervisor at show close (work orders, final booth counts, equipment totals and labor totals).
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate must possess strong problem solving skills, be very organized, have good communication skills and must be customer service and detail oriented.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
A minimum of 3-5 years in a trade show operational environment with experience inclusive of management/supervisory functions is required. College degree preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must be proficient in written and spoken English. Spanish language skills are helpful, but not required.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Must have experience with Microsoft Word and Excel and have working knowledge of database software.

Work will be assigned on an as-needed basis depending on Triumph's show schedule

SUMMARY
The Sales Executive will represent Triumph as a creative and professional general service tradeshow contractor, with the direct responsibility of increasing corporate sales and maximizing company profits. The goals are to identify, understand, effectively communicate and negotiate potential client objectives as they relate to the use and exercise of Triumphs' products and services. The Sales Executive will work as a solid sales team member to project the corporate image of strong leadership, honesty, integrity and to increase corporate revenues.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the ability to work with multi-level management, be detail oriented, deadline oriented, have excellent communication, networking, organizational and computer skills, and possess strong closing skills
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include, but are not limited to the following:
Strong emphasis on cold calling to discover and identify new revenue opportunities; responsible for pursuing sales leads via existing lead lists and other published information, including venue calendars, bureau leads and websites research.
Identify, develop and maintain client relationships by contacting the appropriate planner for associations, independent groups, or other relevant groups such as corporate planners; request bid specifications (RFP's); simple and complex proposal preparation; proposal presentation and contract negotiation.
Collaborate with client and potential clients at all levels to define expectations and ensure clear understanding of those expectations by all parties. Utilizes knowledge of resources to determine sales goals and budget limitations for various types of events and tradeshows.
Communicate event requirements necessary for tradeshow production to the account executive; initial P&L preparation; works with the AE to manage all aspects of budget control to maximize profit margins on every event.
Develops and maintains relationships with facility sales & event managers; attends monthly CVB, venue (where applicable) and state tradeshow membership meetings to promote corporate image and network with potential and existing clients.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Previous sales experience
Strong selling skills
Self starter-able to plan and implement your sales strategy
Success driven individual
Proven ability to network and build rapport
Effectively communicate with clientele ranging from executive management to event staff
Negotiation and closing skills
Solid presentation and excellent oral & written communication skills. Comfortable with communicating in person, by telephone and via e-mail
Ability to understand complex objectives, provide event consultation and produce desired results
Solid multi-tasking and time management skills
Hard work, honest, integrity and unwavering business ethics
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate will have the following: college degree, a minimum of five (5) years sales experience; knowledge of the convention services industry (preferably from tradeshow decorator employment history), a proven track record of increased corporate profitability from previous job position(s) is required.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Must have experience with Filemaker, Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel as well as a working knowledge of database software.
WORK SCHEDULE
Standard work hours are from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, but are flexible due to the odd schedules of trade shows and events. Minimal travel required. Evening and weekend hours are mandatory as show schedules require. It is reasonable to expect to work over 55 hours per week during busy seasons.
